Review of PokerShare
PokerShare is an online poker room with an unique outlook. PokerShare is dedicated to sharing its success with its players. This is done through the Poker Share Trust, which receives money from PokerShare to distribute amongst the players. This is a great opportunity for poker players, and many have joined up with Poker Share for this reason.

Layout of PokerShare
Pokershare.com is very informative, especially about the unique process of how it gives back to the players. It is well explained and simple to understand. The website is also well-designed, looks nice, and helps its visitors find what they need.
The PokerShare software is pretty good. It has efficient filters allowing the players to sort by game type, betting variation, stakes, and more. Players can quickly jump in and start playing at Poker Share. One thing I don’t like is the green color scheme, especially the light green. This is just my personal opinion, though, and others may find it to be pretty nice.
Customer Service at PokerShare
Poker Share’s customer service is simply 24/7 email support. Response time is reasonable and provides accurate assistance. PokerShare does request that players first look at the frequently asked questions before emailing support.
Competition at PokerShare
With all of the new players joining PokerShare recently, you can be sure that there are a lot of weak players on the site. They like to see flops and are loose with their chips, making them the perfect prey.
Games at PokerShare
Poker Share offers Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo, and Five Card Stud. I particularly like the addition of Five Card Stud, as it is a fairly uncommon game these days.
Real Money Traffic at PokerShare
It is a common sight to see between 1,400 and 1,500 real money ring game players and between 2,000 and 2,500 real money tournament players online at Poker Share during peak hours. Most of these players are concentrated in low stakes Texas Holdem.
Online Poker Tournaments at PokerShare
There is a wide selection of tournaments available at PokerShare, including sit and gos, multi-table tournaments, turbo games, and special tournaments. This year, the number one player on the tournament leader board will win a World Series of Poker prize package AND a World Poker Tour prize package.
Freerolls at PokerShare
PokerShare is the host to a fair number of freerolls, although the prize pools for these are only $50 or $100. Still that can be a start for some of the players wishing to get in on the action.
Stakes at PokerShare
PokerShare does offer some very nice stakes. Limit games begin at $0.10/$0.20 and end at $200/$400. No limit games have low stakes of $0.02/$0.04 and high stakes of $100/$200. While Poker Share offers these high stakes, very few players actually indulge in the high stakes poker games, making good high stakes games tough to find on PokerShare.
Private Games at PokerShare
Private Games are not available at PokerShare.
Deposit Bonuses at PokerShare
PokerShare is currently offering our readers an exclusive first deposit bonus of 100% to $300. Use one of our links to visit PokerShare and guarantee yourself this great bonus.
Players Reward System at PokerShare
Players earn both Frequent Player Points and Share Points when playing at PokerShare. Frequent Player Points act like the points do on any other site, allowing you to buy-in to tournaments, while Share Points are used in Poker Share’s unique rewards system.
Every month PokerShare gives money to the Poker Share Trust which then distributes the money to PokerShare players based on how many Share Points they have earned over their PokerShare career. Share Points may also be used to purchase Poker Share Merchandise. Both Frequent Player Points and Share Points accrue at the same rate, so if you earn 1 Frequent Player Point you have earned 1 Share Point.
Compatible Operating Systems at PokerShare
PokerShare is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux. They utilize Macromedia Flash for their software, which is not typical of an online poker site; most rooms use Java technology by Sun Microsystems. There are both pros and cons to taking this approach. Java seems to be more stable, but gives up that crisp graphic interface that you get with Flash. Also, players need to update their version of Flash before playing at Pokershare for Mac. I would check out other poker sites such as Pacific Poker before venturing into Pokershare territory on your Mac.
Deposit and Withdrawal Options at PokerShare
PokerShare accepts these deposit methods: Visa, MasterCard, Neteller, and Firepay.
Players can withdraw money using Neteller or check.
Casino Games Available at PokerShare
PokerShare does not offer any casino games. If you want to play casino games, check out our online casino reviews.
